Frequently asked questions
Does Research connect an exchange account or trade automatically?
No. Research uses public market data to help you discover, understand, compare, and backtest strategies. It does not connect an exchange account or submit orders.
Can I use Research without coding experience?
Yes. Describe the market, interval, capital, and risk limits in plain language. When a local backtest is needed, Research guides you through it without requiring hand-written code.
Where are my research data and backtest results stored?
Under the current product design, local data, backtest inputs, results, reports, and charts remain on your device and are not sent to an exchange as trading instructions.
Does a successful backtest guarantee future returns?
No. A backtest only describes historical performance under specific data, parameters, and cost assumptions. Market changes, slippage, fees, and liquidity can change actual outcomes.
